Niesha (Nikki) McBurrows
Niesha McBurrows is the oldest of five children. She grew up in a small town in central Florida by the name of Winter Haven. She spent her middle and high school years in Lake Wales, a town not far away. In high school she lettered in volleyball and basketball, and was also a member of the track team.
She attended Florida AM University in Tallahassee, Florida. In 2006 she received her Doctorate of Pharmacy degree. From 2006 to 2007 she did a Pharmacy Practice Residency at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. Following completion of the residency program she was hired and continues to work for the James A Haley VA Hospital in Tampa, Florida where she works as a clinical pharmacist. She also works part time for CVS Pharmacy.
Niesha volunteers as a mentor for the Rites of Passage Program. This program is designed for girls 6-18 years of age. The program focus is to mentor young girls through educational workshops.She is happily married and a mother of two beautiful daughters, Aja 3 and Aleah 10 months. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and reading.
